Three reminders have been sent to all political parties, leaders of political parties, current M.C.’s and independent candidates of Chandigarh. Verbal support to “Vachan Patra” has been received by many people. , nobody has reverted for written support so far. We have clearly stated to all the candidates and political parties that the actual support to Vachan Patra will be counted in following conditions only:
1. Get it made as legal affidavit (same language of vachan patra in it) and submit it along with nomination.
2. Provide a Notary attested copy of that submitted legal affidavit to the people of your ward.
It has been found that, candidates and political parties who are claiming their verbal support to “Vachan Patra”, is only for the vote bank. We totally condemn this kind of support.
